About Me

As a child, I always said I wanted to be an artist when I grew up.  I tried drawing, painting, pottery and many other mediums, but I soon realized I was not much good at any of them.  I recognized that I did not have a future in art.  I gave up, and moved on to other ventures, forgetting about my dream to be an artist.  When I took an introduction to floral design my first semester in college, I discovered a love and passion for flowers.  After a few years of refining my abilities, I now know I am an artist, I just had to find my medium.

I have a real passion for taking naturally beautiful flowers and making them even more spectacular.  Flowers can be used to express all stages of life from youth through adulthood.  They can instantly change one’s emotions for the better.  I love to see the effect a simple arrangement can have on a person.  I want to bring joy to people through my work.  I want to help people enjoy the simple things in life.  What better way is there then through innately beautiful flowers?  Flowers just make me happy!

Please take your time an look through my work. I graduated from BYU-Idaho in April 2011 with a Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture and am currently working as a freelance florist in Eastern Idaho. I work with both fresh and artificial floral mediums. Let me know if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Annie Tucker
