Garden Style Arrangement

One popular to arrange flowers is known as the "garden" technique or style. It involves grouping flowers together to look like a manicured garden. I really like the bold statement it makes, while still looking semi-natural.

Prom 2009

We made tons of corsages and boutonnieres for prom this year. One weekend we had about 100 orders. This is one shelf of 4 in the cooler filled with the orders. All of the corsages were wired and taped with the bows and ivy leaves, then flowers and accessories were glued in the day before prom.
I specially made this boutonniere for my sister. She had a black and white polka-dot dress with a red sash.

I had a lot of fun trying new accessories. I started color tooling the daisies.

We had no red spray roses, so we rolled red rose petals. I think it gave the corsage a cool look.

Floating Centerpiece

My friend Bethany showed me how to make flowers look like floating lilies. I added my own little touch with the tulips.

Small Baskets

I make a lot of arrangements in little colored baskets. Here are a few of them.

Administrative Assistant's Day

For Administrative Assistant's Day I made several bud vases to put in the cooler. I love how our shop is unique and makes every arrangement have a special touch.

Internship

I started my internship on April 14 at Flutterby Floral. It's a small floral shop in Meridian that sells unique and high quality floral arrangements and interior plants. I've had a blast working there so far. Hear are some of my designs from the first few weeks
