Glowstick- Mystery Arrangement

In my Competitive Design class, I was given the challenge of designing an arrangement with Glowsticks. This is what I came up with. I love how the different light settings totally change the look of the arrangement.

Valentine's Gift

After Valentine's Day, our cooler had a lot of left over flowers, my professor gave us an assignment to make a nice wrap to take to a friend. I made this arrangement for a good friend who was in need of a good pick-me-up :).

July Arrangements

Fourth of July arrangement

This arrangement didn't photograph very well, it was really cool, the plumosa fern gives a nice sweeping line at the bottom and the flowers form a nice spire.

Funky Budvases

We have a few other businesses that help us advertise by putting weekly arrangements in their stores. Here are a couple of the ones I made.

Mother's Day

These are a few of my original designs from Mother's Day. Most of the orders were bloomnet orders so we had a recipe to follow, these I had creative freedom on I was given a color theme or a specific flower to build the arrangement from.
The purple arrangement.
The red arrangement.
The bright, springy arrangement with gerbera daisies.

Garden Style Arrangement

One popular to arrange flowers is known as the "garden" technique or style. It involves grouping flowers together to look like a manicured garden. I really like the bold statement it makes, while still looking semi-natural.

Small Baskets

I make a lot of arrangements in little colored baskets. Here are a few of them.

Administrative Assistant's Day

For Administrative Assistant's Day I made several bud vases to put in the cooler. I love how our shop is unique and makes every arrangement have a special touch.

Old Arrangements

This was one of my very first arrangements.  I love the colors and the lines that the Bells and the Delphinium create.

This was an arrangement I had fun making on Halloween 2007.  I colour tooled the roses black, and made the leaves dark.  It was a fun arrangement because all of the spiky textures.
